Escaped to the Allotment for a bit, earlier this evening ... can't resist posting up these couple of pictures:
- this one of a 'very full' apple tree, which is about to give us a really good crop. It's been doing so, for several years now!
- and this one, of our Allotment pear-tree, which for the second year running has a few pears growing :-)

It really is turning out to be a bumper-year ... definitely the best season, of the six years we've had the plot!
