Now back from our few days away, up North ... a group of friends and family booked the whole of the Loch Ossian Youth Hostel for the period over Hogmanay: some details here, and you can see here that it is pretty remote!
Regardless, the group of 22-of-us had a truly tremendous time ... it really is a stunning location and as the picture shows, there was a fair bit of snow on a couple of the days ;-)
We were also lucky that the nearby (1-mile away) Corrour Station House Restaurant had just re-opened in August ... I can't recommend it highly enough: we had a lovely meal there on the last night (Wednesday 2nd).
All in all, a very enjoyable Hogmanay, spent in a totally stunning location, with good friends, and lots of food and drink :-))
