There's just no denying that the release of today's quarterly GDP figures has taken everyone aback ...... I swear that Radio5 Live reported them as a 0.5% growth, before realising their mistake and quickly changing the narrative to a 0.5% contraction :-(
Now we've had one-quarter of contraction, the UK-Government (even a Tory-led one!) will surely reconsider the use of all the powers at its control, to try avert this from being repeated in 3-months time?
It's not as if they haven't now been warned?
