October half-term week from tomorrow ... and being married to a Teacher, and having a school-aged child, means we're all able to escape Edinburgh for a few days from this weekend ;-)Does mean that today at work will be the usual blind-panic to clear all the outstanding paperwork etc. before being able to leave the office this evening.
Thankfully, my diary is mercifully free of formal meetings ... mind you, that usually only means that some other, unexpected crisis or news story will appear to miraculously fill the vacuum :-(
