Less than 3-days to go now until the polls open ...
... its a bit of a standing-joke amongst my colleagues about how many times I've reminded everyone of the "days left until Polling Day" over recent months :-(
Well, I'm certain that all our early preparations will help with the eventual outcome this week --- here's a brief reminder of how we went about constructing our local manifesto ...
... and if given the chance after Thursday; that inclusive, cooperative approach will be a common-thread in everything we do.
The political culture in the City Chambers needs to change - everyone knows it! - and I'd absolutely relish the chance to make sure that change actually happens.

Haven't seen a single canvasser or candidate. Obviously Tollcross not worth the bother...to anybody. Elections no fun at all these days :(

Very sorry to hear that. We do have people out every night but there is a large area to cover - apologies if we've missed you.
I've still got two more Local Surgeries this week if you want to speak to me directly?
Andrew
Thanks Andrew - appreciate the thought. But its' not one to one I'm missing,it's the parties having a presence you could see - as in olden times. In Tollcross that would be on a Saturday outside the co-op or Central Halls. Still happens occasionally -young Biagi was out and about before the last SG election and I suspect it was worth his while. I will go on voting relentlessly, but am not surprised that people disengage.
OK - fair point/s ...
... we have had street stalls every weekend for several months now; but not at Tollcross admittedly :-(
Do please continue to vote.
Andrew
No worries - I always vote (although sometimes I need a nosepeg as well as a pencil). Have also managed to produce 2 voting offspring. Apologies for being anonymous - no problem with giving you my identity, but I don't like putting it on line for any passing traffic. Good luck btw.
