Asked to stand in (just yesterday!) at another Burns Supper this evening - and give the Immortal Memory :-(... actually - was a very enjoyable evening: 'Scottish Labour Students' main annual event, with a very welcoming atmosphere, good food and good company.
Not sure how good the speeches were mind ;-)
... and I can't possibly comment on the 'reply from the lassies' which was as blue as they come: the offending female MP must remain nameless.
