Managed a very, very quick visit to the allotment this evening ... our sunflowers seem to have gone completely ballistic!... several of them are currently well over 7-feet tall, and dwarfing the greenhouse/shed :-)
... all we need now is a bit of actual sunshine, and they might actually develop some proper flowers :-(
