Very saddened to hear of John Martyn's death today ... went to see him live in a small Stoke-on-Trent venue (think it was as far back as 1989?) and his solo performance was completely mesmerising.His 1998 album, 'The Church With One Bell', is still one of my all-time favourites.
What can I say: "He's got all the whiskey, still won't give me none." :-((
