I was delighted to hear today that one of my Edinburgh colleagues, Kez Dugdale, has been shortlisted by the Party for the Glenrothes by-election.
... local membership voting on the final choice (from 3 remaining candidates) tonight!

Indeed, great news for Kez there.
I read something today (can't remeber where) that suggested it may be worth Labour giving one of its younger members with more of a future some experience of a campaign rather than giving a one-off candidate the opportunity.
This was with the assumption that Labour would lose either way which, of course, I am sure you would staunchly disagree with.
My point is, I agree, you never know what may happen tonight...

Kez has 'plenty' of campaign experience as an 'Agent/Sub-Agent' and would be a breath of fresh air as a 'candidate'. I don't personally know the other two contenders, so hard to be sure of her chances tonight :-(
