As someone who originates from the West Coast, I really do hope that Glasgow wins the 2014 Commonwealth Games this afternoon ...... would all make for a fantastic two-summers of sport with the Olympics in London in 2012 :-)
... not to mention the huge boost it could bring to an area of Scotland that would undoubtedly benefit from emulating Manchester's 2002 success.
